Super Sparkly Framed Paper Art!
This 10" W X 12" H framed paper art piece was made for a friend of mine for her daughter’s bedroom. She chose the quote and colors, and I developed the concept from there…a sprouting seedling underground working so hard to become a flower in full bloom. The seed is made from a Swarovski crystal bead with a thin, green curled wire coming out of it to form a sprout. Raindrops made of crystal rhinestones fall from a glitter-guilded cloud above, nourishing the seedling with what it needs to grow into the beautiful flower. The background features my chevron design printed on pink cardstock. The flower and cloud are made from hand cut/punched pieces, which are embellished with glitter details. This frame can be either mounted onto a wall, or can stand alone on a table top or a horizintal surface. Do you have a quote and theme in mind? I can certainly make a special piece like this for you.
Packaging Prototype for a Stationery Set
This is a box I designed this weekend for a set of 30 “Baby Steps” note cards in my Chartreuse colorway, and white envelopes. It also contains a fine, felt tip pen. I made the base of the box with a coordinating-colored card stock, and the top is made from clear acetate. The clear top slides into the box base. I added a little tissue paper in a chartreuse color inside the box, and the pen is held up toward the top by a cardstock platform underneath it. The packaging is finished off with a black and white satin ribbon wrapped around it with a little chartreuse ribbon accent to pull the colors together. The back has a cardstock label with my logo and product information printed on it. The label also covers the ribbon on the back, which secures the ribbon to the box so it doesn’t slide around. I’m pretty proud of my packaging attempt! I’m planning to make some gift sets with this packaging sometime in the near future.
Personalized Wedding Charm!
This simple and elegant 2? diameter, flower-shaped personalized layered paper wedding bouquet charm is perfect for a “something blue” item or gift for the bride. This particular charm has a crisp, white flower-shaped base which is made from several layers of cardstock. Each layer of paper is adhered together and then sealed on all sides with a clear glossy sealer.
